At the heart of the HORIZONS program is a commitment to leveling the playing field for children facing economic challenges. Our Montessori approach delivers lessons in subjects like reading, math, and science, reaching each child at their individual level. Beyond academics, the program fosters important life skills, such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, through hands-on experiences and interactive projects. The HORIZONS@LMS Program strives to strike an appropriate balance between academic learning and meaningful recreational activities, which are further enhanced by LMS' 19 acres of land for outdoor exploration.
In essence, the HORIZONS program embodies the belief that every child, regardless of their economic circumstances, deserves a chance to reach their full potential. It's a beacon of hope and empowerment, breaking the cycle of disadvantage and opening doors to a brighter future for our participating students.
