Lexington Montessori School

Our students are taught by certified Montessori educators. Our campus is home to METTC, a Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative, for eight weeks each summer.

We provide a Montessori education that is accessible to a broad socio-economic spectrum. Each summer, we host Horizons@LMS, the first and one of the only Montessori HORIZONS National affiliates in the country.

Maintaining small class sizes and a student/teacher ratio of 6:1, our students embrace their identities and feel a sense of belonging and confidence among community members who share common backgrounds and interests.

Our students are explorers, willing to take risks and meet challenges; both in the classroom and in the world.

We provide an Anti-Bias curriculum that is taught to all students, faculty, and parents. Our dedicated DEIJB Director and engaged Board committee addresses DEIJB needs community-wide.

Our students and families participate in service learning projects and local causes. Students participate regularly in Cradles to Crayons Drives. Our Farming program provides a natural platform for practical life skills and global citizenship.

We hold a commitment to learning outdoors on our expansive natural campus and to preserving the earth as our indigenous ancestors did.
