On October 26th, the LMS community gathered for the Pancake Breakfast and Community Day.
The Pancake Breakfast is a chance to see middle schoolers demonstrating their practical life skills! Behind the scenes, students planned, organized, prepared and then... cooked to raise money for their Barcelona Field Study. Students cooked up 1,260 plain, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes over the two hour event and earned over $2,000 toward their Field Study. They thank you for your support!
At the same time, Community Day was run by parent volunteers out in the LMS green space. Children and families played games, made crafts and spent time together outside on a beautiful fall day. Thank you so much to all the parents who donated their time and energy supervising the activity stations! It was wonderful seeing so many alums return to campus for these traditions!
