Role at LMS:

Elementary Art Teacher

What year did you start working at LMS?

2019

Where did you grow up?

Bedford, Sudbury, and Lexington.

How did you find LMS and/or Montessori?

My mom accidentally found LMS in the fall of 1992 when my parents were looking at schools for my older brother. She was on her way to my grandmother's house, came off Route 2, saw there was an open house and stopped in. I wasn't born yet, so LMS really has been a part of my whole life. I started as a toddler in the fall of 1996, graduated in 2006 (no middle school yet) and the year I was applying to full-time jobs, LMS just happened to have an Art Teacher opening!

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a Marine Biologist or a Food Chemist. I loved turtles and really wanted to know how they made Oreos that turned the milk blue (circa 2000).

What kinds of things do you like to do when you're not at LMS?

Hang out with friends, play board games, and of course make my own art.

If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?

My superpower would be to be able to speak every language in the world. Then I could travel anywhere and talk to anyone!
