China, mostly in Beijing.
What did you love doing as a child?
My fond memories of bicycling and playing "mud-kitchen" with my friends from the neighborhood are still vivid.
How did you find LMS and/or Montessori?
I was searching for Montessori toddler programs for my daughter, who is now a middler in Lower Elementary, when I discovered LMS. Before that, I majored in Psychology and Education during my undergraduate and graduate studies, where we briefly covered the Montessori method.
If you could have dinner with three people (alive or dead), who would it be?
Confucius, my grandfather, Maria Montessori of course!
What's something surprising people might not know about you?
I backpacked with a friend in Mexico, for 22 days, 10 cities. The budget was under $800/person for everything (equivalent to $1,168.73 today) and we did it!
